The Scandals of Lady Bellesang
Lady Bellesang wasn’t a very modest woman at all, she would brag hours on end about even the simplest things she could do well. She would also brag about herself, as well.
The Lady was independent and beautiful, and she knew it. She had many love affairs, with men and other women alike, but she was always the more dominant one in the relationship.
Of course, there were many “love scandals” of hers that were often told every week. It was like celebrity gossip and people couldn’t get enough. She knew this and craved the admirable attention she was gaining (there was only one or two people who disapproved, but were beaten down by loyal followers of hers) and would pull of stunts many times.
She didn’t need her powerful love potions to get lovers at all, she could simply go up and give a kiss and they’d fall instantly (the townsfolk are still in debate whether the kiss was charmed or not).
There was the small group who absolutely despised her. They were jealous of her beauty and the attention she had. They had all met in secret every week and soon came up with a solution of getting rid of her: by beheading the whore.
A year later, they tried once and failed. None of the members of the odd cult had been caught, and they planned their next attack in another year. The second time went according to plan, and with Lady Bellesang out of the way, they were now the leaders.
Not even a month later, the small cult had disbanded and killed each other. It seemed almost destined that this was to happen from the first attempt to murder the Lady Bellesang. No one cried over them, but kicked their bodies and went to find a new leader.
